Why Tweetdeck is Best Twitter Client for Chrome - a Review

Why Tweetdeck is Best Twitter Client so far – a Review
There are hundreds of different clients to use Twitter from the website. Even there are hundreds available for mobiles, of all shapes and sizes. We’ve played around with them all on a daily basis and finally came up with what would be Best for you. Using Tweetdeck for Chrome, it is about as stunning a tool as you are ever likely to come across.

Tweetdeck Features:

#  It’s built in to the browser and it operates within a tab so it feels like using a website

#  No need to log in and start the app as you do with Tweetdeck on the desktop.

#  Stunning design and simple to use that this is a joy to use.

#  Can add Facebook account too.#  It’s very good for people who use Twitter professionally or businesses for monitoring.

TweetDeck for Chrome is slowly but surely becoming a very robust social networking client. Its only downside at the moment, in my experience at least, is that it doesn’t retain your timeline position(s) when updating.

Which means that columns that have received updates start scrolling, whether you were trying to read something in them or not. And, with TweetDeck for Chrome supporting Twitter’s streaming updates, you know it will refresh itself a lot.

One more thing:

If you’re wondering how you can view which tweet a certain tweet is in reply to, just click the Reply button and you’ll see the full conversation show up.

The Downside:

The one downside of this app is that it is just so good that it could be distracting.

And again you have to use chrome browser.

This is so good that it actually competes with the Twitter website itself. It even makes the Tweetdeck desktop client pretty much obsolete.

We see no reason why would we use the Twitter website when we could do so much with this amazing client. You can watch the demo in the video.

I want the old desktop version back. The new versions are still the Mattel Twitter client. I have to keep both Tweetdeck and Hootsuite open to do what Tweetdeck used to do.

Any word on when Twitter will update the Tweetdeck Android app? It still works but its a bit stale.

Hey Jon, we will let you know on our blog as soon as we get it confirmed.

It still does not compare to the old Tweetdeck application, before it was acquired by Google. I am still using the Tweetdeck up and will continue as long as I can.

It looks really good but the matter is that i don´t see how to add my LinkedIn account to TweetDeck for Chrome.

I personally don’t use chrome but reading this article it does tempt me a bit that being said I really do like TweetDeck and have it running as a stand alone application on my PC so it can run in the background and pop up at me as when I need to deal with it.
Although the Chrome Application is great sometimes I do believe we are trying to force to much of our lives inside a browser in some cases, maybe I want to keep in touch with my TweetDeck but I keep closing my browser which is what I am in the habit of doing where as when it is its own stand alone application I can keep it running with no dependencies on another program.
The big thing for TweetDeck now with Twitter now owning it will be how will Twitter influence its development as we have seen before other software companies acquiring software and then the software seems to go downhill. I have wrote an article on my site about this.

Thank Swadeshine for taking time to appreciate

ChromeDeck is good, but it’s hardly the best Twitter client ever made, as it’s missing some of the features that have long been present in the TweetDeck desktop client. I still prefer HootSuite as my in-browser Twitter app. But when TweetDeck comes out with its WebDeck client, based on ChromeDeck but for use in other browsers, I’ll definitely give it a try.

I agree with Longo, thanks for taking time to comment on this topic :)
