A user can get access to his/her photos and videos from Flickr without even registering for an account, but an account should be created to upload your media files on the website.

Pretty Changes:

Flickr added the ease to upload and view HD photos and videos, and allowed users to upload standard resolution videos. Flickr started a partnership with Getty Images in which some of the users were allowed to submit photographs for stock photography and based on that they used to receive some payment.

It is well known for its photo management capabilities and sharing abilities. It provides user two main advantages

  • Flickr doesn’t provide tools like Picasa uploader and it is really a pain while uploading and organizing photo albums. It makes me not prefer it.. 🙁

    • I agree with you. Even though there are a few third party apps for it, they lack user-friendly interface. We will soon be writing an article on the same. Stay tuned 🙂
